Dowina guitars take their name from the ruins of the ancient castle of Dowina which is situated between Bratislava (Slovakia) and Vienna (Austria).They originaly started in 1979 making violins in a workshop overlooking the castle and in 2010 moved to a larger facility near Bratislava.
Currently sold in 120 dealers worldwide,we are delighted to bring these distincive and wonderful sounding guitars to Ireland from this region with a long tradition of lutherie.
