Django-inspired gypsy jazz style mandolins,not only great for swing,but also perfect for Irish trad,and all sorts of folk music.The mandolins feature select,solid AAA flamed maple back and sides,a flamed neck and solid sitka spruce top.Bound with tortoise shell (natural models) or grained ivoride binding (sunburst models).The pegheads feature an elegant 'Tour Eiffel' M.O.P./abalone inlay with Paris swing logo.Product designed by Greg Rich, who has designed instruments for Paul McCartney, Earl Scruggs, Slash and more.
Samois
With the classic D-shaped sound hole familiar to gypsie jazz enthusiasts, it features greater bass response than the average mandolin ,and a rich, full tone that makes itself heard in any ensemble.
Nuages
The Nuages features a smaller oval soundhole, closer in size to the usual round soundhole, which gives a brighter more focused sound.
